Turkey Day is approaching, I’m trying to wait patiently for the long weekend to come.

I dreamt of Lance and Kikanah of my story Ladenflight, except that while they were interacting, Kikanah became me and I couldn’t comprehend Lance’s face. He changed as well, I wasn’t able to recognize who he was. I still can’t remember the face.

My Lady’s ravens are always near, letting me know they’re around, everyday it seems like. This warms my heart.

I had a nice dream that night (and behold, I still sort of remember it). I was a miko (Japanese priestess) dressed in red and white, going about healing, counseling, teaching about spiritual topics, and banishing. I figure the dream was a gift from the gods in celebration of Mabon. ^^

I’m intending to use this blog to help map out my journey in Wicca. I thought about it before when I first got involved in this particular religion, and recently my therapist suggested I make one. I’m currently a solitary Wiccan, but I have been a member of the Children of Eden Coven before it disbanded. (Everyone went off to different post-secondary institutions.)

No, I wasn’t Wiccan for eight straight years. I had four years solid, then on and off the next four. Nobody was amused, I was flailing and trying hard to give myself a label.

This time, I’m more relaxed about Wicca. I’m not pressuring myself. Mother and Brother are alright with me, Father doesn’t know and I’m certainly not telling him anytime soon. As a Hindu I would think he’d be a little more open, but no. *sigh*

I was born into a West Indian family with the paternal side being Hindu and maternal Muslim. Mother is Christian, after she converted so I could attend a Catholic school. No, I don’t have a vendetta against Christians. I was baptized Catholic. And guess what, Brother has a middle name and I don’t! ^^;

All gods are different aspects of the Lord and Lady, in my opinion.
